A word from the Representative of the Leading Marja’iya on bidding farewell to the blessed month of Ramadhan 1447 (A.H)

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Peace and blessings be upon Muhammad and his pure and righteous family.
O Allah, do not let this be our last Ramadan, but grant the opportunity witness it again next year in the best of circumstances. Let me witness its crescent along with all those who look for it and recognize it, in Your most complete well-being, Your most abundant blessings, Your most expansive mercy, and Your most generous bounty, O my Lord, besides Whom I have no other Lord.
Assalamo Alaikum O Momineen and Mominaat
This night, the last Friday night of Ramadan, dawns upon us, and it is believed to be one of the Nights of Destiny (Laylat al-Qadr). We ask Allah Almighty to accept our deeds (A’mal) and yours, and to grant us the opportunity to experience it again with increased faith.
O believers, by the grace, kindness, and generosity of Allah, we have all fasted and prayed this month with ease and well-being. However, our fasting this year has been tinged with distress and troubles due to the prevailing conditions in the region. These conditions do not allow for any expression of joy during Eid.
We must console those who are oppressed and deprived by sharing their worries and sorrows. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his immaculate household) said, "Whoever wakes up not caring about the affairs of the Muslims is not one of them, and whoever hears a man calling out, 'O Muslims!' and does not respond is not a Muslim."
Imam al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) said, "The believers, in their mutual love, mercy, and compassion, are like a single body; if one part of it suffers, the whole body responds with sleeplessness and fever."
And his saying (peace be upon him): “By Allah, he will never be a true believer until he is to his brother as one body is to another; if one vein is struck, all the veins respond.”
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his immaculate household) said: "The blood of believers is equal, and they are a hand against those who oppose them. The lowest of them can grant protection to others."
In this atmosphere filled with sorrow and pain, let us raise our hands in supplication to the Lord of Glory, asking Him to protect Muslims and believers from all harm and evil inflicted upon them by their enemies. For Allah is capable of all things, and when He wills something, He simply says to it, “Be,” and it is.
Let us not forget to pray for the hastening of the reappearance of the Qa'im of the family of Muhammad, may our souls be sacrificed for him.
O Allah, we seek refuge in You a noble state in which You exalt Islam and its people, and humiliate hypocrisy and its people. Make us among those who call to Your obedience and guide to Your path, and grant us through it the honour of this world and the Hereafter.
O Allah, be for Your representative, al-Hujjah ibn al-Hasan, Your blessings be upon him and his forefathers, at this hour and every hour, a guardian, a protector, a leader, a helper, a guide, and a watchful eye, until You cause him to dwell in Your land willingly and grant him long enjoyment therein, by Your mercy, O Most Merciful of the merciful.
Wassalamo alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatoh
