The Representative of the Supreme Religious Authority extended his condolences to the Islamic world on the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), his family, and his righteous companions. He stated:
A successful institution is not merely one that provides financial assistance; rather, it is one that instills hope in people's hearts, restores confidence to those whose spirits have been broken, and assures those in need that they are not alone in bearing the burdens of life, but that there are others who share their concerns and stand beside them in times of hardship.

These remarks were delivered at the World Federation of Khoja Shia Ithna-Asheri Muslim Communities Centre in London on the occasion of signing a Memorandum of Understanding between the World Federation of Khoja Shia Ithna-Asheri Muslim Communities and Al-Ayn Social Care Foundation.
The meeting was attended by Sheikh Safder Jaffer, Secretary-General of the World Federation of Khoja Shia Ithna-Asheri Muslim Communities, Dr. Ahmed Al-Sudani, Executive Director of Al-Ayn Social Care Foundation, and members of both institutions. The gathering took place at the Federation's new headquarters in Harefield, West London.
The session commenced with an address by the Representative of the Supreme Religious Authority, who said:

In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful
All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the Worlds, and peace and blessings be upon our Master and Prophet Muhammad and his pure family.
Dear brothers,
Among the greatest blessings that Allah bestows upon a person is to grant them the opportunity to relieve the distress of a believer, wipe away the tears of an orphan, or assist a family burdened by hardship and adversity. How magnificent this blessing becomes when such a spirit is transformed into an organized institutional endeavor that carries the concerns and pains of people and strives to alleviate them through every available effort and resource.
Today, many communities of the followers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) around the world are experiencing extremely difficult circumstances. They face various forms of hardship, including poverty, displacement, deprivation, security, social and economic instability, and challenges targeting their religious and cultural identity. Added to this are the humanitarian tragedies caused by wars and conflicts, which disproportionately affect innocent people, the vulnerable, children, and women.
Amid such suffering, the need is greater than ever to revive the principle of mutual compassion and solidarity that Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) instilled in their followers and admirers. Shiism is not merely an intellectual or emotional affiliation; it is a living sense of responsibility toward the pain and aspirations of fellow believers. It is a profound awareness that believers are like one body: when one part suffers, the rest of the body responds with sleeplessness and fever.
The orphaned child who has lost a provider, the mother weighed down by responsibilities, the family struggling to make ends meet, and the young person facing the challenges of the future—all of these are a trust placed upon those who are capable of helping. Their welfare is a shared responsibility that should mobilize our energies, resources, and determination.
This is why gatherings that bring together humanitarian and charitable institutions—particularly the World Federation of Khoja Shia Ithna-Asheri Muslim Communities and Al-Ayn Social Care Foundation—carry exceptional importance. They reflect an awareness that the scale of suffering is greater than any single organization can bear alone, and that duty requires the unification of efforts, coordination of resources, and exchange of expertise in order to reach the greatest possible number of people in need and provide support in a manner that preserves their dignity and humanity.
A successful institution is not merely one that offers material assistance; rather, it is one that inspires hope, restores confidence to broken hearts, and makes those in need feel that they are not alone in facing life's burdens—that there are others who share their concerns and stand beside them in times of adversity.
Among the most important lessons we draw from the school of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) is that even the most severe crises should not weaken the spirit of solidarity; instead, they should strengthen and deepen it. During the darkest periods faced by our Imams (peace be upon them), they consistently emphasized caring for the poor, helping those in distress, and supporting the weak, so that the community would remain united, compassionate, and capable of overcoming hardship.
Dear brothers,
The trials and difficulties faced by many believers today place an even greater responsibility upon all of us. True loyalty to Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) requires transforming feelings of sorrow over the suffering of believers into serious action, practical initiatives, and sustainable projects that alleviate their hardships and provide them with opportunities for a dignified life.
We ask Almighty Allah to bless the efforts of all those working in the field of humanitarian service, to grant charitable and faith-based institutions greater cooperation and integration, and to make them beacons of mercy and generosity. We pray that He relieves the suffering of believers throughout the East and West, lifts affliction and hardship from them, and protects them in their faith, their lives, and their homelands. Indeed, He is the Granter of success.
