3. Kissing One's Spouse

#226: A pilgrim who is in the state of consecration is not allowed to kiss his wife with passion. If he does and it leads to an ejaculation, he is liable to a penalty of a camel. Without the ejaculation, the expiation is a sheep. If the kissing took place without passion, as a precaution, a penalty of one sheep ought to be paid.

#227: Someone who is not in the state of consecration and who kisses his wife who is in the state of ihrām is, as a precautionary measure, liable to the penalty of a sheep.
